The Back end
Featuring an extensive back office with a range of features to suit various customisation and reporting needs. The impressive reporting features are easy to use and offer you an overview of stats from the day or any custom time period, along with transaction quantities and totals you can view these on a graph or list form.
If you’re looking for specifics from each day/week you can set out a custom dashboard to give you the figures that you want to see. Whether this is top selling products or profit figures for the day. Multiple stats can be seen on one page.
The Front end
The Front end is clean and simple with various options to create a till flow that works for you. The route to checkout is nice and easy with limited click throughs which we think is very important. Theres a few features that can be set to make the checkout experience smooth such as pop ups when a product to selected (for upsells). Buttons can also be set in different colours which helps navigation.
We found the speed of epos now fast. After uploading 50000 products as a test we saw the speed drop which can be a little frustrating but this is an extreme test to see its capabilities.
We would say the front end is on pay with the SumUp POS system which is in the same category.
Epos now till Costs and options
Prices start from £25 for software only options with add on costs for integrations and extras. It’s usually worth getting in touch with them regarding the latest deals on hardware. Currently through ourselves (here) you can get 20% off all epos now products, licences and apps.
Epos now also now offer integrated payments directly from themselves. If you are out of contract with your current provider it’s definately worth seeing what they can offer as its usually a case that they will be able to better the price.
Integrations
We think this is where epos now stands out. The range of epos now integrations is huge and most likely the most integrations available out of all the POS providers. Make sure you have an idea of what you would like to integrate as some apps come at an additional costs. If your looking for a more complex solution its worth also looking at Toast EPOS if your looking at getting a system for your restaurant
Ecommerce integrations are available for all the major platforms so you can keep track of your inventory in store and online at the same time. Check with your web designer what platform you are on so you can check, once integrated there products will pull over automatically. If you already have a shopify website it may be worth looking at the shopify POS offering as this may be a more simple integration.
